Dear Parents,
On August 20, all the principals of the Archdiocese of Miami attended a Review of Law Symposium. There
are some changes that are necessary for St. Bernadette to make per the law. I know some of the things I am about
to mention seem impersonal, yet we must do them. We know each of you and many have been with St. Bernadette since
PK3. These laws are for the safety of the children and we must adhere to them.
- All parents must be fingerprinted to participate as a volunteer in anyway. No parent can travel on their own
to a field trip if they are not a chaperone and participate with their child or the class.
- Students traveling to and from games should not ride with a parent unless there is written permission
by their parent, in their own writing. We cannot accept phone calls, email or fax without a signature any longer.
- Children may only go home with those on their permission card. Again we cannot take any phone calls or fax on a daily
basis. Please come in and add anyone that you would like to pick up your child to the card in the office.
- It is necessary for all parents of aftercare to sign out their child before leaving in the evening.
- All medicine for students has to be in a baggie, in the original package and have a letter from the parents
giving permission to be given. We cannot give your child any medicine without it being in writing.
- Students taken home with a temperature, cannot return to school for 24 hours.

Dear Parents of Returning Students,
Please fill out completely the re-registration forms for next
year (2008-2009), including your child's social security number and return it no
later than Friday, February 1, 2008. A fee of $200 per family
must be attached to the re-registration form. This fee is
non-refundable. $250.00 for new families.
We cannot guarantee a place for returning students who do not
re-register before February 1, 2008. Students whose re-registration forms
are returned late will be placed on a waiting list for next year. We will
accept late re-registration only if there is a place on the class list for next
year.
Please note the new in-parish tuition rates. These rates
apply K-8 only. In order to receive the "In Parish" tuition rates, the
following conditions must be met:

Your family must be registered, active, participating member of St. Bernadette
Catholic Church.

Minimum yearly contribution of $1,400.00 to St. Bernadette Catholic Church per
family.

$6,050.00 or $605.00 per month for 10 months. |
| 3 children
|
$7,450.00 or $745.00 per month for 10 months. |
OUT OF PARISH / NON-CATHOLIC RATES

|
$5,500.00 or $550.00 per month for 10 months. |
| 2 children
|
$8,600.00 or $860.00 per month for 10 months. |
| 3 children
|
$10,350.00 or $1,035.00 per month for 10 months. |
BOOKS, ACTIVITY FEE, SUPPLIES AND TECHNOLOGY FEES FOR 2008-2009

GRADUATION FEE FOR 8TH GRADE STUDENTS FOR 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR IS
